Style ala men, particularly tomboyish girls who are always looking simple do not want complicated and many styles, androgynous design model will be suitable for girls tomboy, because her dress designs that are menswear design as a model, not too many models but still looks cool. Holy Androgyny! The newest trend to hit the runways of Milan are meels coupled with meggings (man + leggings). Marjan Pejoski is the designer responsible for this fashion forward move and although he took one step back with the graceless swan choke-hold of a dress Bjork wore way back when, he’s now making meel-high strides in the area of gender equity. The new generation of boys & girls is a generation that’s more and more chosen to ignore the signs that point to “women’s” or “men’s” wear. While some of you may still be getting used to the man bag, (which is so prevalent now that if you’re still hung up on that…you really should get with it) the younger generation is ripe with men trying on skirts and tights, girls in combat boots and mens pants, and every mix in between.
So remember the nite I went out to the gay bar, it turned out Kim & I were the only girls there. Despite the extra attention we got for whatever reason, I felt awfully comfortable n fitted in the bar. One thing for sure is my style & fashion, I would describe the androgynous style as something like a fashionable lesbo style. The difference I find between androgynous & a tomboy style is that you can definitely pull off heels in androgynous, and still give off this manly, independent vibe of a male. Despite not having much more fashion sense than putting on some jeans and a t-shirt, all I can visualize when I think of Milan is fashion. Probably because of Milan’s relationship with fashion I also irrationally believe that everyone in Milan is a supermodel.
